Hey there, dorks. This week’s Dorking Out has a heavy heart after the tragedy in Orlando, but instead of postponing the show, we decided it was important to talk about it.
We chat about how we process tragic events like this, which sadly seem to be happening more often. We also share our list of comfort movies and TV shows — the things we like to watch when we need a little escapism. Think of our list as the entertainment version of a big bowl of tomato soup with a grilled cheese sandwich.
We also introduce our segment, “Why Should I Listen To You,” in which we share our favorite movies and TV shows. This week, we each pick one of our top TV shows. Smith goes with “Cheers,” and Sonia picks the police drama, “Homicide: Life On The Street.
But wait. There’s more. We also run down a few quick headlines, including the rumor that “The Shield” may return to FX, a movie reboot of “Battlestar Galactica and more.
