The Bridget Jones’ Emmy and How to Win Your Own Edition

Hey there, dorks. In this week’s episode we wade through the Emmys aftermath. In the era of Peak TV, how do you honor all the great shows that deserved to be honored? We talk about the winners, losers and more. Plus, Chris gets to brag about his Emmy wins. He talks about what it is like to be nominated and win an Emmy, as well as what it is like to attend the award show.

We also review the final installment one of the most important trilogies of the 2000. No, not that one. No, not that one, either. We review “Bridget Jones’s Baby.” The original 2001 film is one of Sonia’s favorite romantic comedies of all time. Does the new one deliver? Deliver … get it?

In our final segment, we review the documentary “The Prequels Strikes Back,” which is currently available on Amazon and iTunes. We interviewed the director Bradley Weatherholt, producer Kyle Brodeur and executive producer Alex Kane in last week’s episode of Dorking Out, and we had a really interesting discussion about “Star Wars” fandom. What did we think of the documentary? You have to listen to find out.

All of that, plus our favorite (and least favorite) headlines of the week.

We hope you enjoy our dorky podcast. You can listen to us here, or you can find us on iTunes, Stitcher and YouTube.

  2. That was not Harrison’s true opinion…Smith has brainwashed him.
But it warms my heart that Smith enjoys a good romantic comedy now and again.
